The essence of who you are is love. You express this love in the world as light.  The light is an ever expanding expression of the Divinity that is the core of who you are.

As you wake up each day, hold yourself in the love that you are.  Receive the love into every cell in your body. Your love becomes your light and shines in each of your cells.  When you walk into your day, you will walk as the beacon of light and love that you are!  Thanks for reading!! Much love Linda

About my edit on we are.  I receive the piece while traveling. Upon returning home, I changed the piece and posted it.  I have not really felt comfortable with it since. My guides suggested that I add back the line that I deleted.  So I have and I do like it much better this way!

I think this illustrates that when we are working with guides, we always have the ability to try other things.  Why not.  We are all exploring and finding our way.  If we find that their suggestion was a good one, we can try that too! It is said that we are energetic beings made up of light and love.  I asked the guides for some thoughts about this and here is what they said:

You are a magnificent being of love and light.  You have come into being to let your light shine and share your love with all of creation.  You have felt small at times.  Now, it is time to feel the fullness of you.  As you open in love to all that is you, you release the light that you are to flow through you.  Then you are able to dance in this world. We are always making choices in our lives.  Each choice eventual comes down to choosing between love or fear.  You could think of these choices as being the difference between expansion and freedom or contraction and limitation.

Minute by minute throughout your day you can choose love. Love allows you to expand into your Wholeness and experience the wonder of who you are.  As you make choices throughout your day, why not choose the one that makes you feel light and free, why not choose love. We have been hearing about all the changes that 2012 will bring.  I think there will be quite a few.  The changes will come from a deep opening to your heart.  As you open to your heart, you open to yourself and the fullness of who you are as a spiritual being.  You gradually come to understand that you are a magnificent being of love and light in a human body.  A human body you created.

We awaken. In this awakening we will find that we are all part of Source, and we will come to understand that we are co-creating what we see before our very eyes.  This is the fruit of our power.  We are shifting our consciousness to engage in our full ability to create.  First, create love for ourselves and then we can share that love with the world. Compassion is a long word that can be simplified into a short word, caring.  Compassion is when we open our hearts in caring, and we are able to honor ourselves and others.  First we allow caring for ourselves.  We learn to honor ourselves and hold ourselves in caring and kindness.  As our love for ourselves deepens, so does our connection and expression of our Divinity.  We become open to our Divine Union. As we express that Union in the world, we express our caring for all creation, we express our compassion.

A daily act of caring and kindness toward ourselves is a small step. That small step grows to embracing yourself and then the world.  Loving yourself is free but it is the most valuable gift you have to give! Thanks for reading! Much love Linda

How many times have we said “there is no time like the present!”?  We might change that slightly, there is no time but the present. The present moment is your point of power. As a spiritual being we can be any where we choose to be in time and space.  We can be picking flowers in second century Italy or shopping at the market five days from now.  We are not bound by the constraints of our body.

Being present is a matter of focus. When you are in the present moment your energy is focused to a laser like point.  You bring the fullness of you to that point and that’s a lot of energy.  You can plant flowers or move mountains.  You have full choice of how you wish to use your creative energies.

So how do we stay in the present?  A simple way is to stay with your body.  I consciously ask my spirit to vibrate in the same time and space as my physical body. Then I feel my body, feel my toes, feel my fingers feel the air on my body, feel the parts that feel good and feel the spots that might not feel as good. Feel the joy of being alive! And voila!
