some thoughts on healing

I hope you all have enjoyed a beautiful springtime in this chaotic world. We will soon have our summer solstice! Open to the energy the Universe sends us during this time. Release and allow the energies to move you.

In all my years of teaching, I have always felt I was tapping people on the shoulder and saying, “wake up.” My guides suggest conscious breathing is a powerful way to awaken. They are sharing some thoughts on healing and breathing!!

Healing takes on many meanings. It can be healing a disease, or it can be healing your relationship with your Divinity and many things in between.

This piece of discussion we are having focuses on healing your relationship with your Divine Self. We started this early on in our discussions with you.

Healing your relationship to your Divinity is very much about healing your relationship with yourself. All the mis-ideas you are carrying about yourself stand between you and open joining your consciousness with the Divine. WE might remind you that there has never been a separation, only a barrier created one brick at a time by your third dimensional mind. This had to take place for humankind to have the experience they have had. Now it is time to allow that brick wall to come down hopefully in a poof of dust that blows away. It is also possible to have the wall come down one brick at a time. We do suggest that most would find this tedious.

. It is the removal of the wall that healing concerns itself with. Each person engaging in the move from 3rd dimension to 5th dimension is now engaged on a pathway of remembering and allowing their Divine connections to enter into their awareness again.

Why is it a struggle for some – many?

We would speak to the aspects of habit. Habit in human consciousness is one way to appear asleep. When one acts from time learned and repeated patterns there is never the opportunity to choose a different activity. One might as well be asleep. So, the first step is to become aware of the habit. We would suggest that a habit can be eating popcorn while watching a movie or it can be answering an experienced behavior with a specific response. The habitual response to a stimulus however is often an unconscious habit. The individual needs to become awake and aware to their behavior to spot the behavior.

How does one do that?

There are many way to approach this. Many on your planet have engaged in meditation for an extended period. This has allowed them to develop the witness within. This witness then can be alert to behaviors that are habitual.

If one has not developed the witness and finds themselves in the middle of this transition a simple way is to train yourself to gently inhale a long inhale, then a longer exhale and to do this twice. This breaks the pattern of response. You may still choose your normal response, but it will be an awakened choice and the next time after one or two deep inhalations and exhalations, you will be able to choose again.

You say what if the inhale/exhale practice become a habit. We would suggest that it may become a habit but the act of consciously engaging your breath is one that disengages you from your ego/centered mind and moves you into the opportunity to shift into a heart/mind response.

The heart/mind response necessitates an awake or awakening consciousness. This is one of the reasons that many practices have some kind of breathe related exercise or practice. It has long been known that the ego/mind is basically asleep. So, all practices designed to awaken one are going to offer breath or breathing practices.

Can you give a simple breathing practice?

There are many practices as you know. We would suggest they are all quite powerful. Perhaps the most powerful is to take on breath where you are aware the full time the breath enters your body, fills you and then gently leaves you. One breath done this way goes many miles to ones awakening.

Thank you for breathing!!! Lots and lots of love, Linda

let your heart drive

I think you have noticed that we are in a time of huge change. We are in the midst of chaotic energy. It is up to us individually and as a whole to choose how we move forward. We can and are doing it, from our hearts. This blog has been about opening to our hearts, working with our guides, and finding and sharing love and joy. I asked my guides for a reminder about driving from the heart. Here is what they said.

As third dimensional beings you are trained to “think things through,” “figure them out” and maybe do a “risk assessment.” As your energy expands, you are moving into the domain of the heart. The heart feels its way through. Your heart listens to whispers from deep within. It ask you to feel with your body, for many it is that gut feeling. You need to become listeners and feelers.

You are switching from much of what you know to new territory for many. This is not a familiar way to be. All the practice of loving yourself and loving yourself more will help you open your heart and let it drive.

Thanks for listening to your heart! Asking your guides for help! And having some fun! Lots and lots of love and hugs! Linda

getting heart centered!

I wanted to remind you about being in your heart center. We talked about this earlier. Resting in your heart is the first step in engaging your heart-mind. There are many ways to get yourself seated in your heart. An easy one is taking an elevator from the center of your head to the center of your heart. Then allowing with your breath to sink deeply into your heart center. Imagine your breath moving in and out of your heart center for a minute or so. This will anchor you in your heart!

Dr. Peebles, channeled by Natalie Gianelli (http://nataliegianelli.com/) has a wonderful trick. He suggests that throughout the day, you touch your heart center. This is a gentle reminder of where you want to be. It brings you to your heart center in a conscious way. It always brings a smile to my face too!

My guides added these thoughts about your heart center:

Your heart center is your spiritual connection. You are in touch with all parts of yourself in this place and at the same time you are in touch with all that is.

Residing in your heart center affords the most flexible place for you to be. Your heart center offers you choices that would not arise from your ego-mind. The ego-mind offers choices based on safety and experience. The heart-mind offers choices based on love and expansiveness.

Thanks for being in your heart center! Much love, Linda

step into your heart

The other morning my guides continued the discussion about the heart-mind. The guides who are talking with us are a blending of a group consciousness called Helios and another who I call the Angelics. Here is what they had to say:

The benefits of engaging the heart-mind are not obvious when viewed from the ego-mind. However, when viewing your external world, you begin to see some of the benefits. Right now the ego-mind in many cases is making a stand for its survival. This is not the total contributing factor to all those things you find disturbing in your world but it does contribute its fair share. So, first step out of judgment. All parts of the human psyche fight for their lives when they feel challenged. We would suggest not to challenge the ego-mind rather to allow the heart-mind to gently begin to support the ego-mind by suggesting other possibilities.

This can be done by going inside and first observing your ego-mind and then in meditation or observation offering suggestions that arise from sinking into your heart center and listening. Give yourself time to practice. You may have success and you may have stumbling blocks. Stay with the process.

To clarify the process, the guides are talking about, first, observe a reaction arising from your ego-mind, then, allow your awareness to drop into your heart center and let a new response arise. Then rising back into your head and look at the possibilities your heart has presented. Practice this as a review of life events to start with, then begin to use it in “real time” when you feel comfortable.

The process can be done as a review while you rest before getting out of bed or before sleep in the evening. Let your heart center offer differing solutions for what might have arisen during the day. Then feel into the possible responses and allow your ego-mind to feel them as well. Notice the responses from your ego-mind.

Noticing how the ego-mind responds to the alternative actions will give you an understanding of how the two minds work. The next step will be to use the action of sinking into your heart center in daily life. Particularly, when the ego-mind wants to take charge.

It is important to be an impartial observer of your ego-mind. Your ego-mind is merely doing the job it was designed to do. Gentle love and caring is what will ease your way through this process.

Thanks for Stepping into your Heart-Mind! Much love, Linda

listen to your heart!

My guides have been talking to me for several years about the heart-mind. This is the mind we are moving into now. They suggested that it would be a good time to write something a little longer than my regular blog about the heart-mind. I will be doing this in installments. The blogs will be a combination of quotes (in italic writing) from the guides and my input (regular typing). We will talk about what I am calling the ego-mind which is what we have been using to navigate the world all our lives and the heart-mind which is what we have been engaging on occasion and seeing how it works in the world.

You are familiar with life lived through the ego-mind. You are being asked now to choose. Choose the way of your being and expression. It is stepping off into a vast unknown but we would suggest looking around with open eyes. There are many who are choosing the expression of the heart-mind and offer an image of a new world of possibilities.

Let’s take a look at the ego-mind. First, let me say that the ego is important to you. It has been tasked with keeping you safe in your life. The ego works in many ways which we don’t always attribute to keeping us safe. Sometimes it seems like it is asking us to puff up and be larger than we are. Sometimes it may seem to want us to hide. Think of the ego as a child sent to do an adult job. It doesn’t know how to approach the task. When it does a task and the approach works, then that is the approach the ego will take the next time presented with a similar situation. The behavior will become automatic in some cases. What my guides are suggesting (and many other guides too) is that it is time to let the ego-mind rest and engage the heart-mind.

So, now the dilemma of giving up something that has served and protected you so well. How to let go of your intellect, how about expanding it to include your heart and allowing that expansion to be called your heart-mind. The heart-mind embraces the intellectual process but recognizes that it has shortfalls.

Thus the intellect is honored and continues on the journey with its human but is now co-driving the journey and shortly enjoying the ride while the heart drives. If the process is allowed to progress as an opening or an expansion of the individual with the intellectual mind moving from the driver’s seat, to the co-pilot, to passenger seat, it is a gentle transition allowing the heart to move from the backseat or maybe the trunk even into the co-pilot seat and finally driving.

It is not necessarily stress free but it is certainly a clear step wise transition.

Starting to be aware of your heart and your heart’s desires is a good place to start to understand what the heart-mind might be and feel like to engage.

Your heart is the main gateway in the physical body to your Divinity.  So step one, becomes finding your heart. Do this in little steps. Do this through your feelings. Your heart understands the world through how it makes you feel. So, little steps. How does looking at a beautiful sky make you feel? Start your day by looking at the sky and feel what you feel. Do not judge it just notice and acknowledge the feeling.

Then throughout the day, let your eyes rest on something before you and see how it makes you feel. Again do not judge the feeling just acknowledge how it makes you feel and move on.

These are a few things to think on and try. I will be posting more over the coming little bit. In the meantime, Thanks for listening to your heart! Much love, Linda
